Service Description

NC Armed Security Officers authorized to carry a standard 12-gauge shotgun MUST complete an additional six hours of certified instruction. Format: 6 hrs. classroom training Practical application on the gun range At least 80% accuracy on a shotgun range qualification course Mandatory Requirement: Completion of Armed Security Officer Training Course Topics: Legal limitations on the use of a shotgun Shotgun safety, including range firing procedures Shotgun operation and maintenance Shotgun fundamentals Night firing RANGE FEES NOT INCLUDED IN PRICE OF TUITION
